That's kind of my situation, for $113 I can get some much needed instruments that I don't have, to add to my collection. Can't be any worse than Philharmonik 2 which is €624 (!!!). They've always seemed mindlessly overpriced for what they offer, judging from the demos.įor $99 though? Go for it. There is NOTHING that I've heard from the KH libraries over the years that has made me think that I need them. If the samples are good, I can create my own nki files with them. The main thing for me is that it's in Kontakt. The one thing I didn't like by just looking at it, is the GUI. It is going to give me pause to check up on it a little more. Thanks emid, I've been a member of VI Control for many years, since 2005, and I have a great deal of respect for many of the members there, so you weren't wrong to post what you said, and I'm glad you did. I and many could be grossly wrong in my opinion which happens very often. BUT in the end if you like it or anyone else, please go ahead. If you ask me, samples sounded synthy but may be the libraries have been re-written but I have to take a look. So yes the examples were from those who take minor details as major. Thread ran over 15-20 pages and then if I correctly recall it was deleted. There was a heated discussion on Kirk Hunter's libraries, I think Spotlight strings (I don't remember actually, forgive me), in which many pro composers established the fact that it was badly written/scripted as well as recorded. I happen to be a long time lurker on v.i.control forum which is I think the best forum to find your answers on any sample library.
